| it's been a long long time i havnt log on this site.
UCLA is a great place with many super smart amazing ppl
here I met the smartest guy in my life so far, hella smart, especially Peter.
I am not doing particularly well here, no matter how hard I tried, I could only get strict B+s in all of my classes.
I am glad that i could be in this super smart school yet being an average one.
btw, i learnt erhu and haegum at school pretty well lol
maybe i've got some musical talent due to my 10-year-4th-grade violin effort.
No soccer in LA at all, all i can find are buildings and houses, unlike northern california where you can find grasses and fields anywhere.
Not much golfing too, nearby is Beverly Hills area and all those golf clubs are limited to members lol
looking back my form 6 hw today, and knowing that i used to be competitive too, but after i came here and got stupidized by the lay back Californian living style, I lost that 'fire' and passion to challenge my limits, partly because i no longer play much soccer no more. after 2 years of cc life i cant really restart my brain and be productive again. if i came right from pui ching to UCLA, i could have been better off than what i am doing rite now -o-
academic difficulties......okay, its just my choice to play around with some pure math after years of 文科 education, and this is not an excuse. |
